In these days, the generosity of the Ticos has been
reflected in each part of the country, so it´s because of that, that we decided
to share with you that it has not only been in these times, Ticos have been
generous since long time ago. As we have done it, it´s important to continue teaching the importance of the values to the new generations.
According to the “World Index of Generosity in 2015”, CR is the
second most generous Latin American country, overcoming very developed
countries in Europe taking the 36th place at worldwide level.
For establishing this index, the experts take into account
three variables:
- If in the last month people have donated money. (Place #56)
- If in the last month people have donated time. (Place #39)
- If in the last month people have helped other people. (Place #19)
(Every statement has the place that CR got according to this
study in 2015.)
I´m sure that this place changed to a higher level in this
year, because it´s remarkable the giant generosity that people from CR has in
their hearts showed in the help that Ticos gave in these difficult situations
like Otto Hurricane and the fire in La León XIII.
How couldn´t I be proud of living in this beautiful country?
